About

madame b.I have been a Stylist, Trend Forecaster, Designer, and Manufacturing Entrepreneur for the past 25 years.  I have worked with high-end retailers i.e., Barney’s, Bergdorf Goodman, Neiman Marcus, Nordstrom and Bloomingdale’s to working as a VP of design for mass merchants i.e., Wal-Mart and Macy’s.

Often, colleagues and friends come to me as a go to resource for information, and  have often asked me to create a blog. So, I finally bit the bullet and started.  I have had many creative dreams and have had many life and work experiences that I would like to share and explore and in the process allow myself to evolve to the next chapter in my life.

I am a foodie always have been and always will be and cooking is a great escape. After I was downsized out of my position in retail, I decided to escape into the pleasures of cooking which had many benefits to my family and friends.  My children’s friends suggested I write a Cookbook. Cooking means much more to me, and food is hopefully a way to feed and nurture friendships, family and celebrate different cultures for what they bring to the table. I also have a passion for Art and Design in any shape, size, or form as well as being a mind/body connection enthusiast. I take long walks with my puppy Samson who has taught me many things, and who also has been a catalyst for starting this blog.

The ability to create a blog allows me to come Full Circle, weaving the fabric of my knowledge and allowing me to explore my creative energies and share my info and “The Light” part of myself.  Pun intended!
